When I stumbled on his story on dailymail.co.uk, I was gingered and galvanized to think that even a child can think, act and walk the walk like a boss that he is.
He goes by the name Cory Nieves and he is from Engiewood in New Jersey. He is currently taking baking world by storm with a business name, "Mr, Cory" and ofcourse from his pictures you can notice that he has got great fashion style and sense, acting the part of a CEO. They say "dress the way you want to be address" and Mr. Cory undeniably knows that. He just doesnt wear tailored suits and silk ties from trendy grown-up stores like J Crew and Zara but he's als the CEO of his very own cookie company called Mr Cory's Cookies..
Cory first decided to start up a business immediately he move in to New Jersey with his mother from New York in 2009 and you want to know what he thinks the key to success is????
Well, he said that he believes the key to success is "presentation".
Quite multi talented I must say because besides being CEO of the cookie company, Cory is also an
actor and model and has been featured in campaigns for Ralph Lauren and
Tommy Hilfiger
Planning ahead: He says he plans to use the money earned from Mr Cory's Cookies to pay for his college tuition to learn how to run business.
Now, this is just a child, some would say "what??.. he is just a child and should be allowed/made to act like one but i personally don't see anything wrong with a child that can develop a skill and make an empire from it.
Have
you ever thought about how stressfree life would have been for each and
everyone of us who are now adults if we had been allowed to develop one
entrepreneurial skill at the age of seven? For christsakes, we wouldn't
have had to wait for jobs after years of graduating from universities.
We
would be in same rank as Dangote and his likes now but hey, our fathers
wanted us to get to school, be doctors, lawyers and what not.
If
you had wanted to be a footballer or musician and then you made a
mistake of telling your father that kind of vision, there wouldnt have
been any doubt that your father would have landed a steamy hot slap that
would have sent a tingling sensation all over your face down to your
brain but now, those "forbidden"careers now are the ones bringing mad
money like oil money.
In otherwords, things have changed and what seems to pay off better are things that you can do with your hands, natural skills.
There
are great motivational speakers out here that can push just about a
nation to do anything but they limit themselves because they either
think they are better or they are shy or they just really prepared
mentally.
There
are marketers out there than can convince anyone to buy sand but yet
they reduce their ability to set their financial status rolling by
engaging in illegal activities, becoming fraudsters/419.
Find
what you can do naturally and do it with so much joy and patience with
God as your threshold and watch out what you can become with it in the
next 5years.
Get inspired and cheers to the frigging weekend :-)
