When I walked into our bedroom, I found him naked and sprawled out on our bed. The pile of clothes and wet towel on the floor indicated he’d taken a shower at some point. After the long flight home, he’d obviously laid down to rest and had fallen asleep. I quietly slipped into the bathroom to freshen up.
