Waiting 15minutes for the doctor's consulting session with one of the patients to elapse, I was only too relieved to exhale my abated breath as soon as my eardrums vibrated at the sound of Dr. Dickson's British accent, beckoning on me to enchant his office with my presence.
From all indications, I would be the last patient for the evening and was hoping that he would take his time to examine me as today was my pap smear appointment with him.
Dr. Dickson became my favorite gynecologist because he seemed to have a way with words especially around women and wasn't so serious looking like most Nigerian doctors; he knew his job and got to it with much ease.
