Whoa! Its really
sad, Talk about a shocking break up! Jordin Sparks and Jason DeRulo have
reportedly called it quits. The two were romantically linked in 2011 and
confirmed their relationship in January 2012. We can’t believe this!
So much
for “Marry Me!” Jason DeRulo, 25, and Jordin Sparks, 24, have split, sources
close to the couple told E! Online on September 25. The split was reportedly amicable,
and the couple have decided to stay friends. We never saw this coming, and
are totally heart broken!
When
reading headlines about the hip hop artists, we always have assumed that they’d
be getting engaged soon! In 2013, Jason released “Marry Me,” a song he
wrote about Jordin and she was even in the video.
“It’s talking about how amazing it will be
when I get down on one knee and it will be the greatest moment of my life,” Jason told E! in 2013 about the song. “You can’t fake anything
because true love is true love, and that’s the basis of our relationship.”
The
couple have been very open about their relationship, talking about it in
interviews and posting their love on social media. On September 8, she shared a
pic of them working
out together. Then the next day, Jason posted a photo spread
form Us Weekly on his Instagram
account showing his love for her!
However,
on September 15 revealed that not everything was happy: “I just wrote the saddest
song of my life,” she tweeted.
Jason Raves Over Jordin 2 Months Ago
In
July, HollywoodLife.com had spoken exclusively to Jordin, when
he told us about how attracted he and Jordin were to each other!
“Opposites
attract! We are polar opposites! Her interests are different then my interests,
we have similar interests in clothes so that is good. But the fact that we are
so different, it allows us to be exposed to a lot more in our lives. It keeps
things fun,” he told us. “I throughly enjoy being with her all the time, it
just kind of works. And I agree with you, I think people should see a positive
relationship in Hollywood, that isn’t something that is always there to see.”
Jordin’s
rep had no comment.
