News have it that Kate Middleton and
Husband is expecting twin daughters.
According to Inquistir; the royal baby bump watch is in full
swing, with rumors circulating that the Duchess of Cambridge will give birth to
twin girls this spring. Clarence House announced on September 8 that the Kate
and her husband Prince William are expecting a new addition to their family,
but they did not reveal the gender of the baby.
News that she was once again
suffering from extreme
morning sickness has been front and center since the royal baby
announcement was made, but the media is also focusing on her baby bump, which
is already showing despite the fact that Middleton is only about 10 weeks
pregnant.
“Prince William and Kate stepped out
for a casual dinner together on Thursday September 11th at King’s Head Pub in
Great Bircham, and you could already see Kate’s tiny baby bump.”
Gossip Cop speculates that little Prince George may be joined by two
baby sisters when Kate gives birth in the spring, going so far as to say that
the royal couple has already picked out two names for their supposed twins. The
rumored names for Kate’s new babies, if she is truly carrying twin girls, are
Margaret and Elizabeth. While the choice of these two baby girl names make
perfect sense because Margaret was the Queen’s late sister and Elizabeth is the
Queen’s first name, the royal couple have not confirmed any of the baby rumors.
As previously reported by The
Inquisitr, Kate Middleton is only in her first trimester of pregnancy,
making it a bit too early to find out the sex of the unborn baby — or babies.
Most expectant moms have a gender-revealing ultrasound around 18-20 weeks.
When it comes to finding out if
twins are on the way, an ultrasound can detect the multiples sooner, but the
results aren’t always accurate. According to Baby Center, an an
ultrasound scan is often done between 10 to 13 to determine the baby’s due date, and there is a chance that twins may be
detected at that time.
“Ultrasound is almost foolproof at
diagnosing twins, but the greater the number of babies, the less accurate it is
at detecting how many babies there are.”
If Kate Middleton is indeed having twins, the baby bump watch
will be even more exciting than it already is for those who follow the latest
happening in the life of the royal family. Fans of the Duke and Duchess of
Cambridge will likely know over the next few months if Kate is carrying a girl
or a boy, or twins, but the Mirror reports that everyone will have to wait
to see the new arrival (arrivals?) until well after winter ends.
