When did women become so liberated that they feel too comfortable enough
to embrace the idea of nudity?
No one is scared about what might
be said neither is anyone bothered about how their nudity displayed in
public can attract a likely devastating consequence such as rape and harassment.
It’s obvious that we have reached the era of high moral dissipation.
A case where men no longer treasure or entertain the pleasant thought of
a woman in her twenties keeping her vows to remain chaste for her husband. Even
her fellow women mock or connive with foes to rip her virginity apart.
Recently, a friend of mine awakened by
knowledge regarding the new naked trend on a certain network called the VH1, the network early this year jumped aboard the naked
marketing train with a new spot for Dating Naked, in which a crowded LA
street is overtaken by a bunch of nude dancers.
Just so
that one thinks outside the box and probably shoot the ratings high, a show on
VH1 tagged “dating naked“ was born where people are made to embrace their
nudity by dating naked without having an inkling of the fact that they are both
naked and amazingly, this show could be viewed by kids.
Watch the
music industry, it been sexualized such that it’s impossible to please
contemporary audience if an artiste’s music video doesn’t show multiple nude
scenes of beautifully curved ladies sensually stimulating the senses of its
fan.
Ooh..
what about social networking sites like facebook, blogs, E-magazines with the
likes of Kim Kardashian, a mother of one, breaking the net with professionally
oiled nakedness in full glare, no form of inhibition, whatsoever. It got the
attention needed plus the cash generated from that was massive.
Away
from kim Kardashian who for me is standing in the gap for Madonna, Rihanna,
Khourtney Kardashian and Singer and reality star K Michelle.
Take a
look at a brand like Coca cola. Coca Cola is
distributing a new kind of milk called Fairlife and guess what it looks
like?
It depicts women 'splashed'
in milk, that only just covers their genitalia which has attracted a lot of
attention from critics saying it’s a sexist ads.
The phrase that jumps
into my mind when I see ads like this is ‘sexual objectification’. I know I’m
not the only person who thinks like this – dozens are criticized daily for
being sexist, tasteless and spreading negative messages to young people but the
question on my mind is, why do women allow themselves to be sexually
objectified?
I can’t begin to unravel
the current blackmails created by jilted lovers towards girlfriends who in the
state of love and bliss, they had to take a snapshot of their naked selves
sometimes alone without the guy in the picture on phones or laptop and when
things go south, jilted boyfriend become vindictive broadcasting the pictures
taken behind closed door on social networking platforms in order to hurt her..
In the first place, why
will any woman who’s got a high sense of positive opinion of herself objectify or
allow anyone objectify herself sexually?
It’s either we are still caved
in and bent over by the aged ideology perceived by men that women are just an
afterthought of God’s Creation and should not be taken seriously and that we
are just meant for sexual pleasures that must lead to procreation and nothing
more or maybe women have lost their sense of true womanhood designed to nurture
the earth with impeccable air of pure grace and love.
There is no reason whatsoever to try and prove a point by going nude publicly.
You can be sexy even with clothes on!!
WOW!!!! This is a very powerful piece. Well done
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the compliment. God bless you!
DeleteThank you. You have said my mind and I truly have a small circle of girlfriends who still have their attitude of keeping their clothes on but very few. I pray I do more to increase it as my part of correcting this trend.
