Are The Whites More Faithful In Relationships Compared To The Blacks?

It is the 15^th of June, 2015 and yes, over the weekend, twitter went abuzz with one of Nigeria’s Popular media personality and vlogger’s marriage, and that would be,Toke Makinwa’s marriage…

There was a report earlier on last week that Toke's husband, Maje Ayida allegedly got his ex-girlfriend of 8years, a girl based in Calabar named Anita Solomon ,pregnant and she's off to the UK to give birth to the child.

Toke confirmed it somehow through a close friend who posted how Toke is taking it strong and all that.

Now someone might be asking how can she know all about marriage and relationship and still didn’t figure out that her man was cheating on her after courting her for 12 good years? 

Isn’t she an expert in this thing called relationship?..... Blah! blah!!

Well, whose to know all, when it comes to a typical Nigerian man, you can never predict what next episode he would be coming on with.

Now, a lot of her fans were in consolation with her on this matter but others blamed her as always like it was her fault to be in show business…or like it was her fault that her husband couldn’t keep what he is packing down south in the sack..

 Some said she didn’t make out time for him, instead she was jumping from one event to another but the question is; wasn’t she in this same show business before he popped the question?

So, why must a woman change her career and activities (when I say activities, the legit ones that bring home the beacon) just so that her man doesn’t cheat?

 Why must a woman be made to work so hard to keep her man in check?

I saw comments on linda’s blog and one that caught my attention says

I'm not ready to lick or comfort Toke. I'm actually disappointed in her. Everyone is saying 'it can happen to anyone' but lets be realistic, as a smart woman u can try to AVOID these things. U dated a man for 12 years. Thats enough to know everything.  #pause…. How do you know what a person is capable of even after a decade of living with them???

Ok moving on***

Nicole says After 12years its safe to even call him ur brother cos then u know him like ur palm.

Reports said he dated d other woman for 8years. Toke didn't know? Can u pretend for 8 whole years?

# pause let me ask this girl called Nicole can this question also apply to widows who after decades of marriage to their deceased husbands, they shockingly discovered that their husbands had other women out there with children and on top of it, his will carries their name? geezzz!

#Moving on again, Nicole says

I'm one of her biggest fans. Watching her on hipTV always inspire me to get ontop of my career game. Its good to be ambitious and popular but once u get married, career comes SECOND. Men are babies.

#pause, when you say men are babies, are we now giving excuses for their inability to differentiate from black and whites and do what is right from wrong?

Babies, are innocent creatures who are loyal to their mothers… you rarely see a baby who would willingly go to a stranger without giving much resistance and bouts of cries…so how can we deceive ourselves, patronizing womanhood that men are like babies???

Nicole says: men, try to act strong blah blah but trust me they need u. Toke was always going on events, shows. She was practically everywhere. Who knew if she had time to cook, offer good sex, play & pamper him.? A wise woman knows how to joggle between career and her home.
After 12 years, maybe the man got tired of waiting. He needed a baby and the enemy won him over with that. We cant question why Toke isn't pregnant yet. God is a giver of children but I still feel she was too COMFORTABLE. U can never relent when dealing with men.

*pause

Did she just say with men, you can just afford to relent? Like a woman’s life depends on her man? Like without her staying on her toes 247, she would lose him?

Really??

#Okay moving on, Nicole says U ain't too fine, rich, superb to be cheated on. He was always traveling to Calabar. How comes Toke didn't know? Was she even around? Sigh I hate stories like this.
This isn't a justification to cheat as a man. Her husband just ruined her reputation and her Heart. God will judge that man in a way he wont forget. May the Lord help us

Funny how after throwing the blame at Toke, she ends it with God will judge her husband for putting through this emotional torture..

Now I need to know, is it that we new era kids set our standards so low and that’s why we can allow the men in our lives cheat and walk away with it even blaming  ourselves or is it that we have set standards so high that men tend to jump into the hands of the other ones with low or no standards cus if you say that you will get back with your ex, who is not just your ex but an ex who left you for another woman, married her, yea? So that you can lure him to bad and possibly get pregnant for him to upset the other woman’s marriage, then that’s setting the standard low?

                                

We are back to this long aged topic: cheating? Why do men cheat?

But nevertheless, the real question for tonight was born out of a conversation I have had with chics who marry or date whites. They say that it is so much easier dating a white-man because when he is in a relationship, when he is in love, he is in love for real and he would be faithful to you at the moment of courtship or marriage and then when he no longer feels the connect between you two, he will find closure with you, he will be open about it and part ways amicably. More or less they are more sincere with their women in relationships than with the blacks.

Black men, have too many issues they bring with them to a relationship and cant be trusted… 

So do you agree with this ideology?

Is that why more Nigerians are getting hitched with foreigners?
