Viewers Discretion: Family Of The Husband Who Batters Wife, Wants Case settled out of court

Report has it that the woman named Gloria, whose pictures you see was gruesomely abused by her husband recently to the point that it drew the attention of rights activist and president of Women Arise for Change Initiative, Dr. Joe Odumakin and she has since taken up the case.
In a series of tweets, Dr. Odumakin made it clear that her lawyer went to the hospital to visit Gloria in this precarious condition and was moved to tears as she shared her long tortuous years of domestic violence in her marriage. Women Arise’s lawyer proceeded to Festac police station where he translated her story into statement  extending his appreciation to the PPRO for keeping constant touch with him.

The police eventually apprehended the perpetrator who turned the wife into a punching bag creating an irreparable damage on the face and body of the wife. Gloria’s husband will be charged to court tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Her husband mobilized his village & community members who said they would like for the issue to be settled the family way.
The question however is if Gloria had died in the process, would the family bury her the family way knowing that they refused to stop him from beating her all these years?
Anyways, the lawyer will follow up to ensure he is charged to court to serve as deterrence. Its imperative to say this that ABUSED Women should Speak up.
